I grew up in Lithuania while the country was dismantling the Soviet system and building something new from scratch. There was no playbook. I built my first ventures in that environment — including one of the first internet cafés in the country — and learned early that navigating a system that doesn't yet make sense is not a problem. It is the operating condition.

In 2003 I migrated to Australia. I rebuilt my professional life inside one of the most compliance-driven regulatory systems in the world. I started in a corporate law firm, learned the system from the inside, and then made a deliberate decision: I wanted to work on matters that actually changed people's lives. Not case numbers. People.

I established Immi Response in 2018. Since then I've worked with companies relocating teams across borders, founders entering new markets, families navigating complex personal matters, and individuals who'd been told by other agents that their case was too hard.

I'm also building Haga.Pro — a platform that integrates immigration into international hiring for Australian employers. I'm not advising founders to build things. I'm doing it at the same time.
